Remembrance is a multi-faceted word. We all’remember‘ in different, and our own, way.
The texture of memory is complex, but to remember is vita I. For me, it is important to remember those who suffered and, in hundreds of cases, died simply because they were part of a group identified as ripe for exploitation. Travelling in search of the past reveals much about human nature; aggressors and victims all have their stories – stories from which we, in this 21st Century can learn much.
